Chitlin’ Circuit war ein informelles Netzwerk von Musiktheatern im Süden und Osten der USA, die Musikern, Comedians und sonstigen Bühnenkünstlern afroamerikanischer Herkunft während der Rassentrennung sichere Auftritte gewährten. Der Name geht zurück auf das traditionelle afroamerikanische Soul Food Chitterlings (ausgesprochen Chitlins), ein Gericht aus Schweinedarm.cite-ref-britannica-1-0[1]cite-ref-rbhof-2-0[2]

Der Chitlin’ Circuit war das Karrieresprungbrett von erfolgreichen Künstlern wie beispielsweise Cab Calloway, B. B.
